Now you have kids, how are you going to feed them???

As a new father – or mother - one of the first things that changes is your eating habits and trips to the grocery store.

Never cooked in your life?  No worries, Uncle Buck will show you some tips and tricks so you can go from "I've never cooked in my life" to "Glad you liked it; I made it myself".

You are taking the right first steps by visiting this website and should be congratulated.  Make a difference to the well-being of your new family by learning some elementary cooking techniques.

When I was a Young Buck I worked in some of the best hotels in CanadaI feel much has changed in the way we prepare our food in the last 15 years.  Seems like most folks these days live on prepared, take-out or restaurant food.

With a new baby in the house eating out 3 times a day is not realistic.  Restaurant food is full of sugar, salt, other additives and is very expensive.

You may have a fully-equipped dream kitchen or just a hot plate, microwave and a kettle.  Whatever your situation, proper nutrition is important for baby and your family.

Not a chef?  No worries!! But this seems like a good time to pick up some basic cooking tips.  I am not going to show you fancy techniques or anything new.  Just simple advice and practical tips on how to produce restaurant-quality results from your kitchen; big or small.

It's not only about the money.  It is less expensive to cook at home and a child with a full belly sleeps better and is more manageable throughout the day.

So let's get started!!!
